2. Festival Podcast #8 – FREE

There are heaps of free podcasts available anytime to listen to, but our top pick for best podcast is #8 featuring Sheree Rubenstein on why small business is the new women’s movement. Sheree is the founder of One Roof, Australia’s leading co-working space for women-led businesses. She is also an incredibly generous and talented entrepreneur who has built a impressive reputation for curating spaces, programs and communities that inspire female entrepreneurs.

One Roof also has a great event space for hire in Southbank, Melbourne

3. Franchising and Business Opportunities Expo - $10, 26 - 27th  August

For many people who want to start a business, it’s not learning new skills or getting the drive that's the problem, it’s coming up with a cracker idea. But not all successful businesses need to start with an original idea, you can buy an existing business or franchise. This event is a great way to explore this side of business and whether there is a great opportunity just waiting for you.

4. Google analytics: Why and how - $20, 29th August

Having an online presence for your business is one thing, but it is a whole other ball game if you can look behind the surface and know where your customers are coming from and what they are doing on your site. That’s where Google Analytics comes in.

This event is particularly useful if you have an e-commerce business that you want to grow. Pay attention, and you’ll probably get the $20 event cost back with increased sales.

5. How to price your product or service - $20, 31st August
